The best St. Joseph Table ever
The 2011 St. Joseph's Table on Saturday, March 19, was declared the best ever. It seems that every year Holy Rosary Table is the best, and it is. As the faith and devotion of the organizers and volunteers grows dail, they find something new and beautiful to add every year. A constant flow of people braved the inclement weather and viewed the Table and enjoyed the free lunch of the traditional pasta Milanese. We served over 900 dinners.
The day began with the 10:00 a.m. Mass in honor of St. Joseph for being a good provider and protector of the Sicilian people back in the Middle Ages, and for continuing the be the provider and protector of every family and devotee present at mass. They experienced the protection and blessings of St. Joseph, and had personal reasons for their participation and support for this historical celebration.
A corporate celebration
Holy Rosary is very grateful to everyone who was part of the preparation of the Table. These people include the volunteers who prepared tons of cookies and other food delicacies, the volunteers who decorated the magnificent Table, the kitchen staff who prepared and served the dinners, the volunteers who helped to set up and clean up, and the people who patronized the feast and were generous in their donations, and in the purchase of cookies, cannolis, and all the fancy food on the Table.
The celebration was a great success and we thank you for your contributions. All proceeds will be used for charity. May St. Joseph bless every one of you and your family and all your loved ones.
