Mission: To be informed of our parish’s needs and create an environment of Love and Hope. WE work with and support all parish committees to facilitate a faith filled place of worship. We accept positive future oriented proposals.
Our first fundraiser will be a cookbook. We are asking each parishioner to contribute at least 3 recipes and submit to Donna Kelly at 800 Pacific Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106 or drop in the collection basket. Recipe forms are also at the back of the church. The cookbooks will be sold at the St. Joseph’s Table this year.
A bake sale will be held December 4th and 5th. Please bring an item to be sold at all masses. Please have them priced and ready to sell.
All ushers and readers will have a meeting in the chapel to discuss holiday services and we are looking for volunteers for these positions. Men and women are welcome. The meeting date and time will be announced in the bulletin.
May 15, 2005, is a special year for Father Joe. This is his 50th anniversary of priesthood. A buffet luncheon to celebrate his life will be held at the Argosy Casino. We need volunteers for this special event. Details to follow.
A Shrimp Boil will be held April 22. Details and meeting date to be announced.
Chris Cakes all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will be held May 22. Details will be in the bulletin.
We are also looking for 2 ambassadors from the Vietnamese community. Volunteers or suggestions, please leave in the suggestion box.

Next meeting of the parish council is January 11, 2005, in the chapel. Coffee and refreshments at 6:30 p.m., meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend and participate.
